르세라핌 LE SSERAFIM은 2022년 데뷔한 5인조 걸그룹으로, 사쿠라, 김채원, 허윤진, 카즈하, 홍은채 총 5명의 멤버로 구성되었네요. 당초, 6인조 그룹이었지만, 김가람은 2022년 7월 전속계약 종료 후 탈퇴합니다.

 

LE SSERAFIM 네이밍은 "I'm fearless"의 아나그램 Anagram (철자 바꾸기)에 의한 것이라는데, 불어로 세라핌 천사를 의미하기도 한다고 하네요.

르세라핌 : 데뷔 당시 괴물신인 아이돌, 차트1위 달성

르세라핌 LE SSERAFIM은 2022년 5월 Fearless를 출시하며 데뷔했고, 10월 최초 영어노래인 Perfect Night을 발표합니다.

 

특히, Perfect Night은 블리자드의 1인칭 슈팅게임 Overwatch 2에 대한 홍보노래로도 사용되면서, 한국 차트 1위와 아시아권에서 각종 차트 1위를 점유하고 있습니다.

 

Perfect Night은 경쾌하고 가벼운 댄스풍 리듬으로 젊은 10-20대가 좋아할 스타일인데, 특히 작곡은 몰타계 영국 싱어송라이터인 로렌 아퀼리나 Lauren Aquilina가 했다고 합니다.
