[한국지식] 한국 공휴일, 영어로: Korean Public Holiday 에 대해 리뷰하려고 합니다.

 

외국과 다른 한국 특유의 공휴일은 설날, 추석, 삼일절, 광복절 or 독립기념일, 한글날, 개천절 일 것 같습니다.

 

외국인에게 잘 설명해야 하겠지만, 한국인이라면 제대로 한국 공식 공휴일에 대해서 다른 사람에게 설명할 수 있는 수준이 되어야 하겠지요.

 

설날 or 구정 (Seollal or Korean Lunar New Year)

설날이 다가오면 전국적으로 새해를 맞이하는 분위기에 가득 차게 됩니다. 한국 전통 명절인 설날은 가족이 모여 선조들을 기리고, 떡국 같은 전통 음식을 함께 즐기며 새해의 번영과 행복을 기원하는 소중한 시간입니다.

Churches hold special services, and streets are adorned with twinkling lights and decorations, creating a magical atmosphere of warmth and goodwill.
