"오, 정말 놀랍더라! 성공의 맛이었어."

 

Slip of the Tongue 혀가 미끄러지다. 말 실수하다

"Did you hear what happened in the meeting?"

"미팅에서 뭔가 일어났어?"

"Yeah, someone had a slip of the tongue and accidentally revealed the surprise."

"응, 누군가가 말 실수해서 뜻밖에 비밀을 드러냈어."

 

Mouth-watering Delights 침이 고이다. 맛있어 보이다.

"Have you been to that new bakery?"

"그 새로운 빵집에 간 적 있어?"

"Yes! Their pastries are mouth-watering delights."

"뭔가 말하고 싶었는데, 그냥 혀를 멈추기로 했어."

"Sometimes it's better not to speak in the heat of the moment."

"He said something really irritating."

Slap on the Wrist 손목에 일격, 한방 먹다

"Did you get in trouble for what you said?"

"그게 네가 말한 거에 대한 제재 받았어?"

"Yeah, got a slap on the wrist for speaking out of turn."

"응, 말을 잘못해서 한방 먹었어."

 

Mouth Runs Faster than the Mind 머리보다 입이 빠르다. 실수로 말하다

"You accidentally revealed the surprise!"

"너 실수로 비밀을 드러냈어!"

"Oops, my mouth runs faster than my mind sometimes."
